Tooma Is A Rural Village In A Breathtaking Valley Of Open Spaces And Fertile Farmland
Nestled in the beautiful Tooma Valley, halfway between Tumbarumba and Corryong, with a local population of around 100 people, the landscapes are as dramatic as they are unique.
Hugging the banks of the Tumbarumba Creek, the village offers the ideal base to pursue activities such as fishing, skiing, canoeing, trail bike riding, cycling and horse riding.
A rural community of open spaces and fertile farmland, Tooma sits below the Snowy Mountains and is within easy access to Kosciuszko National Park.
Located just five kilometres from Tooma on the Tooma Road, is the Southern Cloud Memorial Lookout offering magnificent views of Maragle and Tooma Valleys as well as the main ridge of the Kosciusko National Park.
The Three Bridges at Tooma Boutique Markets are held on the first Saturday in November. Here you’ll find a beautiful range of homewares, delicious treats, local produce and live music. It is THE place to do your Christmas shopping.
