Marvel at the engineering wonders of the Snowy Mountains Scheme at  Talbingo and Khancoban. Try your hand at fly-fishing in the Tumut River, so close to town, or the more remote Swampy Plains River near Khancoban. Swim, fish, or laze on the banks of the Murray River at Jingellic’s free campground, right next to the local pub. Explore Kosciuszko National Park in all its beauty.

Yarrangobilly Caves at the northern end of Kosciuszko National Park is not to be missed. Take a guided tour of the stunning caves, or relax in the thermal pool – even in the depths of winter it’s a constant 27°C.
