THE TUMUT REGION

Part of the Snowy Valleys, in the western foothills of the Snowy Mountains, is picturesque in every season. Incorporating the townships of Adelong, Batlow, Talbingo, Tumut and Cabramurra, and the village of Brungle, you’ll experience crisp, cold mountain air in winter, lush, green rolling hills in spring, cool, clean waterways in summer and, of course, the blaze of colour in autumn.

The northern gateway to Kosciuszko National Park, whether you prefer hiking, biking, boating and exploring; discovering the freshest tastes fresh from the farm gate; or relaxing amidst the natural beauty of the quiet landscape, this is where you’ll find your escape.

Reconnect with the landscape, and with your loved ones. Drag the kids away from their apps and games to enjoy panoramic vistas and clear fresh waterways. Get off the grid and enjoy a holiday that won’t cost the earth, or indulge yourself with taste sensations from locally sourced produce in one of our restaurants and cafes.
